Morantin Noella

The vineyards and winery are located in Noelle Morantin pouille, small town in the French region of Poitou-Charentes, the cradle of the famous wines of the Loire. His passion for the vineyard and wine begins random encounter with a teacher of a school of winemaking, which will forward the interest in the world of wine. So Noella leaves his job in Britain and enrolled in a school of oenology, who attends until 2003. In 2004, the meeting takes place with Junko Arai, a Japanese owner of the estate Les Bois Lucas near Touraine, wine importer French in his country. The sympathy and esteem are reciprocal and, in a short time, Noella is taken with the position of head of the estate. In 2009 Noella decides to become her own wine producer and rents, with the intention of buying them in the future, 8.5 hectares of vineyards from Didier Barrouillet and Catherine Roussell, owners of Clos Roche Blanche. Noella's dream come true: its vineyards, treated with infinite love and great competence under strictly biodynamic, represent the top of the cru wines of the Loire. In the cellar, not far from the vineyard, the aim is to produce a natural wine as much as possible, with natural yeasts, long maceration, long and slow fermentation and minimal use of sulfur. This small manufacturer Loire has achieved prestigious results thanks to his enthusiasm and his perseverance so that its wines have obtained the qualification of biodynamic wines Triple A.
