The Franciacorta Brut Satin “Soul” of the cellar Contadi Castaldi is a Blanc de Blancs, a product of vinification of the best Chardonnay grapes from vineyards growing on moraine soils, moderately thin and fluvio -glacial gravel, pebbles, sand and limestone. In a single plot, the best fruit of Contadi Castaldi ripen on the slopes of Sottomone hill, preserving a precious treasure of brightness and freshness in every single grape. Here, near Erbusco, the Chardonnay grapes are marvelously enriched with all the grace and style of wrapping hints of vanilla and yellow flowers just bloomed. In the meanwhile, the sunny slopes of terraced limestone on the eastern sides give a powerful warmth to the grapes, with hints of spices and ripe fruit. The Franciacorta Brut Satèn "Soul" in the glass reveal itself with pleasant straw yellow with golden reflections, which accompany you to discover the fine and persistent perlage, ensured by the traditional Franciacorta method. A refined process, which gives the softness and the incredible delicacy of silk to this incredible bottle. A noble mood is evoked by the bouquet of this wine, thanks to the excellent expression of hints of vanilla sponge-cake, honey, apricot and ripe pineapple, candied citrus and chamomile. In the mouth the Franciacorta Brut Satin “Soul” opens silky, thick and creamy like a gentle mousse suddenly followed by an imposing taste. Mellow, velvety and balanced, refreshed by the citrus note, it closes with the bitter almond, which dissolves itself in the pleasure of a subtle and delicate graceful smile that does not look for any boundaries.
