'Muffato della Sala' Castello della Sala Antinori 2019 - 50cl

Castello della Sala, owned by Marchesi Antinori, produce this wine in very limited quantities, with a particular procedure. The grapes are harvested in early November, to allow time for morning fog to encourage the development of Botrytis Cinerea, noble rot, on grapes. This mold has a tremendous effect on the grapes: it reduces the water content and concentrate the sugars and flavors. The wine is very intense, with hints of candied fruit, honey and citrus. Try it!
