Petruccino Podere Forte 2010

The Petruccino is a red wine of great elegance and quality, produced by a winery who we will hear a lot in the coming years: Podere Forte. Thanks to the talented winemaker Cristian Cattaneo and the support of the owner Pasquale Forte, the wines of this winery are able to be placed immediately at the top of the Tuscan production and distinguished by the sharpness of the authenticity of flavors and fragrances. Podere Forte activity is based on the philosophy of biodynamic and a total respect towards nature. The non-use of synthetic products and the preference for indigenous yeasts allow these wines to express the full potential of the terroir of the Val d'Orcia. The combination of Sangiovese and Merlot enhances the characteristics of the two varieties, giving us a mix of fruity, floral and spicy scents of rare elegance. In the mouth it is confirmed enveloping and harmonious, perfectly balanced between softness and minerality, sensual and very elegant. A wine that we truly recommend.
