Pinot Grigio Borgo San Daniele 2014

The Pinot Grigio by Borgo San Daniele is one of those wines that leave their mark. A great white wine that, in recent years, is having a great success in Friuli and that seems to have found the right terroir to create excellent products. Born from a bud mutation of Pinot Noir, which retains all the features except for the color, it needs to cold soils, but never wet. The experience and passion have allowed Borgo San Daniele to meet the needs of Pinot Grigio, which owes its name to the characteristic color of its berries. Harvests offering are contained, but always consistent and of high quality. A quality that after a white winemaking separated from the skins and lees for at least 4 months, then we find in the glass: it opens with delicate notes of ripe fruit, dominated especially the pear, but with time and with aging is able to evolve and wander towards the toasted almonds and dried hay. It gives the view with a nice golden yellow old, while in the mouth it offers soft and very aromatic. A Pinot Grigio which also won the guides, which year after year reward its quality and its aromatic finesse.
