Rum Vieux Agricole Millesimato Bally 2000

Rum Vieux Agricole Bally Millésime 2000 is a French style rum agricole from the island of Martinique, Caribbean. The rums produced by Bally are not distilled from molasses, like many other rums, but from the juice of sugar cane harvested in the limited period between January and February, a characteristic that makes them resemble the great wines: sugar cane has in fact different characteristics to each different crop, necessitating distillations ad hoc.

Considered one of the leading products of Bally distillery, aged in oak barrels for at least three years, has the Appelation Contrôlée Martinique, synonymous of our DOC. With a strong amber color, the fragrance stand out notes of plums, walnuts, cinnamon, and tobacco, on a mineral and iodized background. The taste is powerful, but always sweet, fragrant, easy to drink, with fresh notes of citrus, honey and almond. The finish is precise and persistent, with an elegant trail of orange zest, cinnamon and cloves. A great vintage rum in the Bally's full tradition.
