The Rum "Old Reserve Jamaica" Plantation 2001 is the result of a careful blend of rum distilled in column stills traditionally. History and experience are intertwined in the creation of this profile decided rum and recognizable. A rum selected and aged for many years in the Caribbean, mixed thoroughly by the cellar master at Château de Bonbonnet, ending maturation in France at the company Ferrand Cognac producer (owner of Plantation Rum), led for 20 years by Alexandre Cages. During the creation of the Old Reserve are used bourbon and sherry casks where the liquid rests and is enhanced for nine years and still refines three years in barrels of cognac. A perfect example of the best rum in Barbados style: voluptuous, soft and fruity. Dark amber, Plantation 2001 offers a nose full of tropical fruit reminiscent of banana and pineapple plantations mature. The result is a product of the long fermentation intense and very aromatic with a beautiful mahogany color. Manages to reveal a wide range of aromas coming until cooked mango, clove and nutmeg. A generous palate with notes of fresh sugar cane that remain in the mind and in the mouth for a long time with a remarkable persistence. A powerful rum of great character.
