The Veneroso by Tenuta di Ghizzano is the historic wine of the company, the most representative, put on the market for the first time back in 1985. We are facing an historic farm in Tuscany, Tenuta di Ghizzano, situated on a small and pretty village hill 200 meters high, in the heart of the Hills of Pisa, with a soft scenery and a mild climate that is tempered by marine airs. A time submerged by the sea, the soil of the Tenuta di Ghizzano is rich in fossil shells, with a nice sandy texture, silt and clay. A company that does not use certified organic manures in any way, without the use of herbicides, insecticides and fungicides. It comes with an elegant fruit and ripe, offering the chalice all typical of the terroir from which it arises. Born with 70% Sangiovese and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and is left to ferment with indigenous yeast in wooden vats before going for 16 months in French oak barrels. They are interesting sensations of sour cherry, black cherry and plum followed by graphite, tobacco, juniper berries with a finish that tends to balsamic and chocolate. A great Tuscan wine that represents the history of Tenuta di Ghizzano.
